The full text of Rule 12 at the JREF Forums reads, Attack the argument, not the arguer. Having your opinion, claim or argument challenged, doubted or dismissed is not attacking the arguer. Seems like a good idea in general, but some things just need to be said, ya know? Biting your tongue gets old and leads to hairy palms. Here are some choice comments about a few of the more...interesting... forum members. We're all thinking these kinds of things. I'm just writing them down. If you'd like somebody reviewed here, leave a comment somewhere. I'll see it.

Locknar

Locknar is a moderator over at the JREF. This guy is an idiot. A doofus. He is probably the worst moderator in the history of moderators. I really don't even know where to start or where to end. His stupidity knows no bounds.

Oh, that's not being a critical thinker, now is it? It surely isn't, but I don't care. If you hang out at the JREF, which is probably the case if you're here, then you have probably encountered Locknar floundering as a moderator. There are many people are annoyed with his uneven, knee-jerk, idiotic moderator decisions. Other moderators hardly ever back him up, and when they do, it's because they are just protecting their own.

I wish Darat would publish the number of appeals each moderator gets along with the number of infractions. More importantly, I'd like to see what percentage are reversed. He's had his chance, Darat. Fire his ass and find someone decent.

That is all.

  1. A classic Locknar moment was when he insisted that a paranormal test whose objective is to dowse whether a person has had a vasectomy or not, should involve both male and female subjects.

Since I did not specify that the test involve "men" who did or did not have a vasectomy.

It took him several thread pages to understand his blunder and humbly be corrected.

Love you Locknar, one of a kind.
